Activity Description

The activity aims to increase beneficial and sustainable use of renewable energy resources to support economic and social development in Myanmar.

Activity Objectives

• Project 1: Grant Funding arrangement for Rural Electrification (partnering with GIZ).

• Project 2: Technical Assistance for distributed Renewable Energy projects (partnering with GIZ).

• Project 3: Environmental and Social Impact assessment for Bawgata Hydro power

• Project 4: Renewable energy training for Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE) professional staff.
